Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Eddie moved to New York with his family when he was 2 years old. He grew up in the hard streets of Spanish Harlem in New York City.

By the age of fourteen, the New York Yankees Organization drafted Eddie to play baseball. He turned them down to pursue a career playing hockey. At the age of 17, the New York Rangers drafted Eddie to train as a goal tender. After intense practices with the Rangers, Eddie spent many nights dancing in the nightclubs of New York. He won't admit to his hockey teammates, but Eddie quickly realized what his love in life was -- dancing.

Now, with 4 Professional US titles, 1 World Professional title and 33 US Pro/Am Championship titles, Eddie pursues his passion through training both professional and amateur dancers his outstanding choreography and flawless technique. He lives for the excitement of competition and the satisfaction of success. Today, Eddie is one of the most sought after choreographers and coaches in the United States.
