Emily began her dance career training in flamenco, the traditional dance of Spain. She brings her fire and passion from this dance to the floor in her latin dancing. After a few intro salsa lessons, she fell in love with the rhythms of latin dancing and has been training in latin and ballroom ever since. Throughout her competitive career she has won scholarships at the Heritage Classic and USISTD Championships and has been a finalist at the Atlanta Open, Hotlanta Dance Challenge, Yuletide Ball, and Capital Dancesport Championships. Her goal is to win US Championship titles in Rhythm, Smooth, and 9-Dance with her coach and partner Jeremy Norris and pursue a career in teaching.

Emily is a student at Chattahoochee Technical College majoring in Criminal Justice. She keeps herself in shape for dancing through her training in Mixed Martial Arts and riding her horse in her spare time. She also brings her musical background to the dance floor with performance experience in musical theater, orchestra, and choir.
