Rafael was born and raised in Caracas Venezuela, where he learned and experienced the real rhythm and soul of the authentic Latin dancing. He moved to Miami later on where he became involved with Latin and Ballroom dancing. For more than 13 years he has been teaching dancing to children, teenagers and adults.

Rafael incurred in the modeling career appearing in national and local commercials all over the USA and the Miami area. He has been the choreographer and principal dancer of famous Latin TV programs and shows such as Miss Venezuela International, the special presentation featuring famous Latin singer Johny Ventura and the Sabado Gigante Spanish show ...............among others.

Now in Atlanta, he is a Partner of Academy Ballroom and entirely dedicated to training students from beginners to advance in all styles of social and competitive dancing and is available for all kinds of events including wedding ceremonies and any class of show exhibitions.

He has been a top teacher award winner in many competitions including the Pro-am American Rhythm, World Pro-am Mambo Finalist and World finalist 2006 Open Rhythm as a result of his dedication to constantly developing and raising the levels of his students.

He is available for shows and dance exhibitions with his students or his professional dance partner and he can teach in either English or Spanish.
